The Timberking Pneumatic Chainsaw was specifically designed for underground mine use but has been widely accepted in the building and construction industries, ship yards and marine environments (particularly underwater), railways, quarries, petrochemical / polyethylene plants and timber mills. In fact anywhere where compressed air is available.
As certain countries prohibit the use of aluminium in coal mines, the Timberking Chainsaw has been produced in 2 body materials. Aluminium for lightweight and a zinc based material for those hazardous environs where aluminium is prohibited.
The body and handle are sand cast, this produces a stronger and more durable unit. The high torque pneumatic motor has been designed around a 6 bladed rotor specifically for this application.
